I probably live the life less traveled by many at my age though I'm pretty much the average. Battling a rare genetic bone disorder for twenty plus years now but that's not how my story ends. I take the joys of friendships, the serenity of solitude, the ups and downs of melancholy, drowns of sorrow and the intoxication of love. A certified coffee addict. An idiopath. A social networking junkie. A movie freak. Pet lover. Good food. Sunsets. A simple creature.

my Squidoo updates

Now I need to get back my strut and the passion in keeping up with writing and lens making in any given time of the day. I was so easily distracted in some occasion where ideas mostly I cannot grasp when I badly needed it.

Though in a positive note, the things I pretty much I worked on in the past couple of years in Squidoo started to pay off. I guess, everything comes in a proper timing. It's just so unbelievable how I'm loving the tedious online work, sleepless nights and the painstaking aftermath of its idleness in a typical days where I mostly find myself wondering what this life will leads me to at the end of the day. There are some goals I'm happily met for the most part the journey has always never been easy. No, there's never an easy way in anything but there's always an endless possibilities. This is probably the price I have to pay so be it.

I realize how change can be a positive thing too. Time flies no doubt. We need to adapt to change. Step out on our own comfort zones in a way to keep up with the changing times.

Squidoo mostly tweaks itself to rise beyond the challenge that we lensmasters often having a hard time to deal with or not.  But in the end we are all aiming for one good reason that stays: "We need to challenge our ourselves to become what we ought to be." I always have faith in the beauty of the platform and to the online readers as well hopefully the knowledge you put up and share will always be there.

Sharing is caring how many times I heard they say.

Many lensmasters report much higher total numbers when they take their off-Squidoo sales in to account -- additional revenue like sales from their Zazzle, Etsy and Lulu stores, from blog traffic generated by lenses, from consulting leads and so on.

New Squid Themes & May Payday

How it is said that it's better late than never. I know I've been a few days now since the last Squidoo payday. Pretty much my time consume in learning a whole bunch and exciting things happening at Squidoo. They have launched a new feature the new Squid Page Themes that could go along with whatever topic you'll wished to wrote so I was thinking of why not switching all my lenses with it. Voila!

I was paid with the total of $69.34. To my surprised the outcome of the payout decreases of $17.57 compare to the last payout. At last my Easy Homemade Empanada Lens is back at the overall Top 100 despite of a few fall backs I've been through with the issues on ebay seller and losing the amount I previously earned at Squidoo.

I did what I did and I really learned my lesson well.

Now I'm working on making some improvements in Lens Making as an art. It is indeed an art as I notice the personality and the passion of a lensmaster reflects in the collection of his/her lenses. There are days when ideas somehow come up to me it pours every time I needed it and there are days I was just desperately stuck in one topic or two and it feels really useless of continuing it. But as you go along with it, you will discover the enjoyment and fulfillment of accomplishing something.

I know that you know, it just takes an amount of patience. Never, never, never give up!

Enjoy.
Breathe.
Live life to the fullest.

Just got back: An Update

Some of you might wonder what happen to my personal Squidoo blog here. I haven't update since last year. So many things going on ever since the last time I wrote something in it. Most of my time in the daily consumes with the everyday musings here and there online browsing, updating and editing previous 80+ plus lens which on my part pretty much a burden when you have to work on it at the same time everyday.

It was. I started Squidooing about the quarter end of 2007 about the month of August and since that time I've been on and off from writing because I'm easily get bored with the things I do so I tend to pay not much attention with the so-called 'work' I just started.

With the same thought I came across today, I suddenly have the eagerness and the inspiration to come up something new and somehow as a part of self-promotion in one of my many lenses using this blog. I may not be the most experience and lively writer here, I'm really enjoying all my time like a little kid doesn't stop to be amuse of so many incredible things out there. It is indeed learning and knowledge never stops to where you are at. It is something within every person and it just happens that this is the work and the medium that I chose to be part of. Most especially to touch the lives of many people by using this amazing platform to educate because according to the super philosophy "Everyone's An Expert On Something". I tried to believe so.

I will try my best to update everything all about my Squidoo journey and all...

There is nothing as an accident. You are a special combination for a purpose - and don't let them tell you otherwise, even if they tell you that 'purpose is an illusion.'

(Live an illusion if you have to). You are that combination so that you can do what is essential for you to do.

Don't ever believe that you have nothing to contribute. The world is an incredible unfulfilled tapestry.

And only you can fulfill that tiny space that is yours.

A Bunch of Thank U, fellow Lensmasters!

I’ve read an early note about Squidoo payday update that they will be giving $80K all for charity… It’s fascinating for me how things work at Squidoo and being part of making lenses for a cause is something incredible I ever did just spending the best of my time online. These charity work is unbelievable. I wouldn’t mind looking forward to each and ev’ryday doing these stuff. Good grief! But, I am doing okay for all the things I did is well spent in the name of charity.

Some people I came across Squidoo all throughout the past few months has been curious to know the real secret on how to have a successful lens life and traffic. Does it something to do with a credible backlinks? Absolutely! There are times the flow of ideas come up to me in the most awkward and frustrating times. As far as my journey here, I realize that there is no time table because the ideas are endless just like the possibility of earning.

You will notice how my lenses vary from ideas to the other. Mostly, those things I love about the pop culture, food (again, there’s a lot of possibilities out there!), movie reviews, politics, duel, entertainment, music, sciences and books.. etc. But then again, after the first week of the month.. I turn into being idle mad chick, who’s sick and tired being trapped into the sophisticated world of cybergeeks. Anyway, it doesn’t too long when I manage to find my senses again thinking tomorrow is gotta be a different day. And it is, I’m very much thankful for each and ev’ryday that I have to deal with. Life is like a whirlwind. It just passed by whether you’re aware or not.

However, after all the ups and downs… It’s great how things turn out this month! I made it! I made my goal in the Giant Squid Program which I’ve been workin’ on for almost everyday.. It is something I enjoyed doing in the past couple of months or should I say almost a year now. I heard a lensmaster say who made more than a hundred lens, “NEVER GIVE UP!” For me it is a passion you have to cultivate as a part of your busy schedule aside from your full time work, attending the kids, doin’ household chores, or whatever.

Anyway, I want to thank you my fellow lensmasters (GramaBarb, Cheryl, Crypticfragments, mulberry, poddys, eelkat, well forgot the name of the others… check out my Squidoo Fan Page! :) ), Squid Team, Organizers (Bonnie, Robin & Pattie), Megan and Seth, offline and online friends, strangers in a too many billion people in the world, you manage to find me! Rofl!

I don’t know. I just can’t explain.. Congratulations to all the NEW Giant Squidude & Squiddettes!

To those who didn’t make it… Never never give up!

Seee ya around!

july squidoo payout and more great news!

It's all good! I got my July payout on dashboard actually I've seen it last night but I feel super sleepy and my mind can't seem to absorb everything in late hours.

Surprise! Surprise! My royalties is a whooooping $103.42! Good times.

It increase for about $23.07 compare it to my last month payout. I'm thrilled with so many good things I'm reaping with all my works of labor here in Squidoo. Like I said in some of my blogs, there are times when I tend to second guess myself most of the time if I'm still doing the right thing when it comes to lensmaking. That's why I end up with the things I truly love or close to my heart which is food.

I very much enjoy the company of a good food especially when I'm too much overwhelm on how to keep all things meet. Some sort of release from all the tension of the day. Imagine, my very first food hit Easy Homemade Empanada Recipes Lens is one year older now! It manage to break into the list of Top 100 overall as #97 lensrank overall (11 days), plus it rank 8th in the Food/Cooking Category. I couldn't ask for more!

As far for this month, there are 55 lenses on my dashboard; 52 featured lenses; 3 WIP (Work-In-Progress); 17 lenses in top 1000; 35 lenses in top 10000 and 1 lenses on top 100000.

Time in Squidoo is always in a fast paced. You'll never know which lenses will go up against yours.

So, let's keep up the healthy competition!

June payout is here!

Current mood: Blessed

You heard it right! June Payout is right here on my dashboard already.

I'm pretty much satisfied how the turnout of things for this month of August as far as my squidooing is concern.

My total earnings for June is a smashing of $80.35!

It increases for about $6.69 when you compare it to last month. All in all, it's so exciting to know the fruits of your labor after every month of sleepless nights, procrastinating and brainstorming. I just can't believe my accomplishments in the past few months since I joined Squidoo. For so many times, it really taught so many things I never knew it is possible in just a click away. I've been joining so many social networking sites within the past few years but it never went this big. It is totally a blast for me!

Sometimes, people often I talk to can't believe that I'm able to do business and earn online with the help of my limited capacity technically and physically. At first it's like "okay, I already join so what's next?" I'm totally out of the loop when it comes to online marketing, techniques and social networking. Actually life on the internet is pretty boring. I don't know to some. I'm actually a lazy person in a day where I really need to tell myself to get up and get started. But, when I started something I really need to finish it. That is how serious I am when it comes to the things I do. Well, like they say if you don't have passion in everything you do it'll definitely be seen in your work.

Today I'll be giving my lens some love and we'll see what happens next.

How about your payout?

P.S. "Life is so short for all the dramas!"

I reached my 50th milestone

I hit my 50th lens!

Isn’t that an enough reason to celebrate as for today? Yes, you heard it right before your eyes. I’ve been working so hard to fight back being stuck into the world of writer’s block. So far the voice within tried to pull me right back to where I started. The biggest challenge really comes through yourself on how you are able to find your niche at the same time enjoying the things you loved the most.

I’ve been using the internet for so many years now in my studies also for recreational activities and social networking with long lost century friends who forgotten its way home. However, not one of them has given me this opportunity to challenge myself in a good way that will bring out the best in me. At the same time, learning through Squidoo is something only squids know how the feeling. I’m forever stuck with my dashboard and I love it!

As for today, I did a lot of multitasking for I really don’t know what will happen next…

P.S. I learned that silence is sometimes a sign of working in progress.

Trying to meet target goals

Whoa, I can’t believe we’re finally through the end of July. So many things I’ve been busy about lately though at some point I wonder what is really happening at the end of the day, so on and so forth. It’s one of the fascinating things I experience working in the World Wide Web. Your head never stops thinking in a speed of sound. Your mind is always up its beat to see what’s in there and all the possibilities. I don’t have time frames on everything I do up to the finished work.

The problem with data gathering you have to be resourceful and be equipped with new things so that you can always offer something fresh hot from the kitchen. Sometimes, I really don’t have that patience to finish a topic in one sitting down. Just like today, I give up a couple of hours to beg some sleep so I feel asleep in the middle of “my so-called work”. All in all, at the end of the day it’s a not a big deal for me whether I come up with something or not after all I’m enjoying my “work” as a hobby. No loud voices to tell you have to do this and that.

Though it’s better late than never, I have to report my Squidoo payout this month which is the whooping salary ($73.66) I ever received. It increases for about $7.97 more compare last month's payout. I should say that Google has been very good to me so far for this month. You see the payout for May is to be given this first week month of July. Google is leveling the page rank of my web pages lately so the lens rank keeps on changing from time to time. Still, my food lens is a hit even in these odd months which I’m getting a hard time to come up with other topics again. But, for sure as the season change I’ll get over being stuck in the world of writer’s block. I’m not really contented with the turn out of things because I didn’t meet my goal to be a Giant Squid last June 30th countdown. Well, its not that so bad for me even though I didn’t make my goal last month. For the most part, I love it because it is not something I need to argue to won the battle over religion and politics.

Sometimes, it’s not on how you get into the game that matters. It’s more of how you played the game that matters most…

GramaBarb - My Superhero Grandma

This person is my Superhero because...

You really want to know why? I know you do. She looks familiar, right? She is the Squidoo's very own GramaBarb. She's genuine, heartwarming and encouraging as a grandma. I'm so thankful that I had the chance to know her through her lenses and her beautiful soul like a sunshine to everybody that came across to her.

So let me have this opportunity to publicly thank her with the help of this simple page. Thank you for letting me found Squidoo, for showing me that there's a lot of possibilities out there in life, for teaching me a lot of amazing things I never know how and most of all for bringing out the best in me in my own little ways.

You are truly one of the best grandmothers in the world!

P.S.
Sorry I got your picture that's why posted it. Just kidding!

The Adorable Flying Squirrel

Meet the Flying Mitten

Aren't they really cute? Yes, I love them so much. So, why they are called "flying mittens"? Can they really fly? A Flying Squirrel has an aerodynamic membrane that made them possible to glide and bounce from tree to tree as if they are flying but actually they are leaping as far as 260 feet.

The name "flying mitten" is fitting, since while gliding the squirrels appeared to be completely flattened much like a mitten. Plus, these extraordinary rodents has unique eyes which resemble large black pearls, nocturnal mammals and loves to play in the springtime.

This page will discover more exciting information about the life of these flying squirrels!

Arcidosso, Italy

La città bella del Arcidosso! (The Beautiful Town of Arcidosso)

If there's one European country that I dreamt of traveling someday, it is definitely the beautiful town of Arcidosso in Italy.

Arcidosso is a municipality or as the local people called "commune" in the province of Grossetto in the Italian region of Tuscany. It has approximately a population of 4,173 and an area of 93.3 km².

Many Italians consider this as one of the most splendid among their regions because of its ancient villages and stunning landscapes. Just imagine yourself walking along the cypress line vineyards and attractive hillsides plus the charming people and glorious cuisines filled with creative mix of art.

This is going to be a heck of a ride! A touch of renaissance giving birth to the modern world...
